Protect the tooth, keep your smile
A crown covers and strengthens a damaged tooth so you can chew comfortably again, and it's made to blend in with your natural teeth.
- Cracked or broken teeth. Protect a tooth before a crack spreads.
- Large old fillings. Replace weak, worn restorations with a stronger option.
- Worn-out crowns. Replace crowns that are chipped, dark at the gumline or loose.
- After a root canal. Protect a treated tooth for the long term.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take my insurance?
We're in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, Aetna and UnitedHealthcare PPO plans, and we work with many Medicare Advantage dental plans. Call us with your plan details and we'll confirm your coverage before your visit.
How long does a dental crown last?
With good home care and regular checkups, crowns commonly last many years. Your dentist will talk with you about what to expect for your situation.
Does getting a crown hurt?
The tooth is numbed so you're comfortable during treatment. If you're anxious, ask us about sedation options.
Which is better, porcelain or zirconia?
Both are excellent. Porcelain is especially lifelike, while zirconia is extremely strong. We'll recommend the best choice for where the tooth is and how you bite.
